In Austria you need 2 seperate working brakes and white light to the front and red to the back.

In general, your bike must be fully equiped (fenders, etc. ... exc. racing bikes). In everyday practice it is important to have a functional light when it is getting dark.
+
if you don`t have this, police often charges quite high fines. We recommend working lights for the critical mass ride in Linz!

Driving under the influence of alcohol is penalized from 0,8per mill (1l beer, 0,5l wine). In case of an accident the 0,8per mill limit is of no importance. so we recommend not mixing alcohol and the joys of riding a bike.

Infrastructure Invited groups Infosheet
invitation
Program
Experiences

The cyclocamp is self organized. There is a couple of small "orga-groups" providing necessary infrastructure but this should not lead to domination of these groups during the cyclocamp. All necessary work has to be done by ourselves. Participation in all activities is voluntary and is coordinated at the plenum and at the "ams - employment center". If you have time and ressources to help somewhere you can offer your help at the info-point. The plenum will take place every day at 19:00 (7 pm) and should be attended by everyone. Agreements and rules according to which the festival will be organized should be achieved (<-WAS SOLL DAS HEISSEN ???)in a consensual way during the plenum. otherwise majority rules (<-HAMMA DAS SO BESPROCHEN??).

The democratic culture of this self oganized event should be based on respect towards one another. It is important to enable the aritculation of everybodies opinions and experiences to learn from each other. Conflicts can occure but should not be fought in a disrespectful way or on a personal level. If there is any kind of conflict: contact the support-group at the info-point! We ask every participant of the Cyclocamp to be aware of sexism, racism and all other kind of dicriminating behaviour. If you notice: please discuss this and call the support group for help if you need it. For persons concerned sexual assault and any kind of other interpersonal emergencies you can reach the support group under 0676/BK-telefon ??

Costs The cyclocamp is a non-profit festival. The profit made at the bar and kitchen will cover the costs of wood, toilet etc. To avoid additional costs, it is necessary to separate waste because the costs for residual wastes is expensive.
